A dream

A recent dream in a school setting.

Shejo Mami

In the afternoons I would always bundle up to her and she would open her collection of fairytales, of demons and the princess. She would eloquently read them, with growls and sighs!

Kola Pata

The leaves of  the banana tree are used in many traditional ceremonies in many an interesting way.
I remember making banshee (flute) with them as a kid. When the sun makes them glow in their bright greens, its awesome to see these leaves sway in the morning wind, dropping whole of the night's dew in a go!

Howrah

A yearly visit to my granny's place in Howrah has been a luxury since childhood.
The air is fresh and always humid. coconut, date and  Guava trees
mark every small garden. Big and small ponds can be found
in every turning. Bottle Gourd plantations garland the
tiled rooves. There is the  play of sun and shadows
all around the courtyard..
